This is the master bedroom of a magnificent property in St. James, central London. Each cupboard door was covered in silk fabric to match the upholstered walls throughout the rest of the room and to give a seamless effect so that all the cupboard doors are disguised. A jib door centred between the cupboards leads into a walk in closet.
All the cupboards were finely measured with adjustable shelves, internal drawers and rails so that every bit of space was utilised to its maximum capacity. The cupboard space overall was designed with microscopic attention to detail in that everything was designed around the clients clothes, with each cupboard dedicated to a particular type of clothing and its exact dimensions.
The backs to all the cupboards are made from cedar of Lebanon which gives off an amazing scent that wards off moths.
